- ➤ The Arkansas Audubon Society will host eight readings of Aldo Leopold’s essays on March 7-8 in areas including Conway. A film screening of Green Fire is scheduled on March 3 at Ron Robinson Theater & free copies of A Sand County Almanac will be given. Arkansas Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ OWJEF, a local scholarship organization, now offers scholarships for college, trade school, and educators (with additional training in financial literacy and job readiness) to help local students and workers build skills. THV 11
- ➤ For AR Kids coalition is gathering signatures during MLK weekend (Thursday through Monday) statewide to support an education amendment. Volunteers will collect signatures in over 20 communities including Conway at community centers, churches and schools. ABC7
