- ➤ The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has cleaned and prepped over 8,000 rubber decoys from duck season for decoy-painting classes that teach young hunters about waterfowl species and conservation. The program partners with groups (FFA and 4-H) to promote reuse and keep decoys out of the landfill. ABC7
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A dozen Fountain Lake firefighters walked away after a controversial leadership change — raising concerns about emergency response. Officials have not yet announced plans to restore full staffing in the department. THV 11
- ➤ On Feb. 5, Brooke Buckner reported that LRPD launched a new physical ability test (designed to update officer fitness standards) to help ensure candidates meet current requirements. THV 11
