- ➤ Conway basketball player Ethan Dietz died three days after sustaining a head injury when an opposing player's elbow struck him during a Connors State College game on Nov. 22, according to a coroner's report. ABC7

- ➤ Film director Jeff Nichols is seeking local young actors for his new movie King Snake. The Agency Inc. posted a casting call on Monday for boys aged 9-15 (must be in Central Arkansas) and submissions are due today at 6 p.m. with filming scheduled from Mar. 15 to June 30. Arkansas Times
