CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police continue to search for two additional suspects in the Conway park shooting. THV 11
- ➤ Arkansas State Police arrested Michael Charles Evans (35, Houston) on Saturday, April 26 after he fired his gun at a driver on Interstate 40 in Lonoke County; the victim was not hurt, two semi-automatic pistols were recovered from his black Cadillac, a juvenile was in the car, and Evans faces charges including terroristic act and aggravated assault. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Arkansas Department of Health confirmed a fourth pediatric measles case in the state. THV 11
- ➤ The FDA is set to phase out petroleum-based synthetic food dyes linked to hyperactivity in children and Arkansas moms on Facebook have praised the decision—many noting improvements in behavior when switching to dye-free options. The agency will remove six dyes by the end of next year and require companies to pull red dye no. 3 ahead of schedule. ABC7
