Good morning, Conway.

Conway ranked 197th on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Places to Live list and was named the 4th best in Arkansas due to low living costs and a competitive job market — the city’s value index hit 9.1 and it added nearly 8,000 residents in the past five years.

Today, Conway city leaders and Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store officials broke ground on a new location along Farris Road next to Don Pepe's.

Guy Fieri, the Food Network host (of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives), will visit Conway later this June; local fans can expect more details as plans are finalized.

Conway's early 2026 data shows a strong local economy as retail sales climb to $661.21 million (+5.02%), the labor force holds at 38,625 with a 4.0% unemployment rate, and the housing market tightens with a 14.94% rise in median home prices, per Arvest Bank.
