- ➤ JJ's Grill announced that its Little Rock location will close permanently — the restaurant said it will help workers find new jobs at its other locations in Conway and Rogers. ABC7
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday, the Conway School Board voted five to two to buy out Superintendent Jeff Collum's contract amid complaints about low teacher morale and falling reading scores. The board approved a severance payout of $461,000 (to be completed by Jan. 10) and named Deputy Superintendent Jason Black as interim superintendent while planning a search for a new leader. - ➤ Brooke Buckner presented Arkansas's top news stories yesterday — including coverage of the Conway School Board meeting — in a broadcast that highlighted key local issues. THV 11
