JJ's Grill announced that its Little Rock location will close permanently — the restaurant said it will help workers find new jobs at its other locations in Conway and Rogers.
🎓 Education
On Sunday, the Conway School Board voted five to two to buy out Superintendent Jeff Collum's contract amid complaints about low teacher morale and falling reading scores.
The board approved a severance payout of $461,000 (to be completed by Jan. 10) and named Deputy Superintendent Jason Black as interim superintendent while planning a search for a new leader.

The Conway School District board called a special meeting to review a request by teachers and parents to remove the superintendent — the board has not yet decided on any changes.
