- ➤ On May 28, a Conway Firefighters Facebook group claimed the Conway Fire Department was understaffed and underpaid, with Fire Chief Mike Winter saying the department had fewer firefighters per truck than the NFPA recommends—forcing extra trucks to run emergency calls.
