- ➤ The council approved three ordinances on Sept. 9—one for the Rachael Ray No-Kill Excellence Grant that will fund a new 22-kennel adoption trailer for the animal shelter, one to detach a property at 5875 Highway 319 West due to high service costs, and one to rezone a property at 603 Polk Street. - ➤ Arkansas is joining a regional effort to remove duplicate voter registrations—states will remove extra registrations when individuals move out after living in one state, as Secretary of State Cole Jester explained.
