ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On September 18 in the early morning, Mayflower Fire Department was called to a residential structure in the Saltillo Fire District; during a search for survivors, firefighter Rinquist suffered second and third degree burns after the floor collapsed—he was rescued by firefighter Riveira—and he was taken to a local hospital for evaluation before transfer to Arkansas Children's Hospital where he remains in good condition. - ➤ Farmers in Central Arkansas have struggled as input costs rose while rice prices dropped 30% from last year—farm leaders say many family farms could go out of business.
