- ➤ Jennifer Boyett was promoted to senior director of advancement communications and campaign manager at the University of Central Arkansas—she will guide the school’s fundraising work. Log Cabin Democrat
- ➤ Governor dedicated the new Nursing and Science Center at UACCM during a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday. The event featured a keynote presentation—explaining how the center will help grow nursing and science classes. Log Cabin Democrat
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Conway city council passed an ordinance on Nov. 11 that makes the Village at Hendrix an entertainment district, letting adults 21 or older carry alcoholic drinks from participating restaurants between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. & the rule will take effect 30 days after the meeting. THV 11
