If you've missed , mark Dec. 2: the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission plans to close the lake's gates that day so it can begin holding water after three years of renovation. Rainfall will decide how fast the water returns. KATV

City Council

The Conway City Council voted 7-1 on Oct. 27 to table an ordinance for a temporary moratorium on certain developments until its Dec. 8 meeting. Alderman Andy Hawkins voted no, saying he wanted to wait until after January. Log Cabin Democrat
