Lake Conway

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will close the gates to the auxiliary structure of the Lake Conway dam on Dec. 2 so the lake can begin refilling. Regional fisheries supervisor Nick Feltz said there is still work to do, but every part of the renovation that required the lake to be drained is done. KVOM 101.7

Turnout

In Faulkner County, 51.3% of eligible registered voters cast ballots in 2026, or 40,530 people, according to unofficial totals. That's down slightly from 52.26% in 2022 but above the statewide 48.12%. Log Cabin Democrat
